Join Before We Charge,
Keep What You Have
Everyone who joins before we start charging is a founding member. It is a date, not a headcount - there is no seat limit, no countdown and nothing to claim. Open the account and you are in.
A founding member keeps what the site does TODAY, for as long as the account holds its seat continuously. That is a fixed, known set of tools - not a blank cheque on whatever gets built next.
Free means the state you work out of. That is where nearly all of this work happens - a crew, a mill and a landowner are almost always in the same state as each other. Working several states is extra reach, and extra reach is the upgrade, for everybody: it is not a fee for being a crew or a mill, it is the cost of covering ground you do not live in.
Being FOUND is never behind any of that. Your listing, your directory page and the search a landowner in the next county runs are open regardless of what your account covers. Nothing about discovery is ever charged for - a toll on finding each other would break the only thing this site is for.

Mills and timber companies who join before charging starts
Free forever for everything the site does today.
A mill in the founding group keeps free access to every part of AXE USA that works today, in the state it buys out of, for as long as the account holds its seat without a break. Mills are the reason a landowner gets more than one number for his wood, so the ones who show up first are not the ones we start billing. Buying across several states is extra reach and is priced like it, founding cohort or not.
Timber company
Lenders, banks, insurers and equipment dealers who join before charging starts
Half price for the first twelve months once charging begins.
This side is buying access to deal flow worth real money, so the founding offer here is a discount and not a giveaway: half the list rate for your first twelve months of billing, then the standard rate. Nothing is charged while the site is being built, and the twelve months start at your first bill - not the day you signed up.

Consulting foresters and land & dirt contractors
Free while we build. A paid trade once charging starts.
This is not the logging crew's deal, and it is worth being plain about why. A crew is free because the wood pays: the crew is the supply mills pay to reach. A consulting forester is hired by the landowner for a fee, and a clearing, grading or dirt contractor is paid by the landowner or developer directly - no mill subsidises either lead, so once charging starts the forester listing and the land work seat are priced. Nothing is charged while the site is being built. When a price does arrive you hear about it before the first bill, and no charge lands without that notice.

Free while we build. Priced later, with notice.
Real estate, advertisers and any trade not named above pay nothing while the site is being built. When a price does arrive you hear about it first, and it is the same price a member who joined the same week pays - no special promise beyond the notice, and no charge without it.
What is not covered by any of the above: things that do not exist yet and cost real money to run - paid lead routing, sealed-bid escrow, market data reports. Those are priced for everyone when they arrive, founding members included, and nobody is moved onto one without asking.
Activating a seat below switches the work on and takes no card. When membership fees do start, you are told before the first one - and the promise that applies to your trade is the one written above.

A seat is held for one business location - the town it runs out of - and carries that location's listing allowance. Open a second yard and add a second location on the same seat; close one and drop just that seat. Where a seat is based and where it may work are different questions: you pick the states it works, one at a time, up to 6, and past that it simply covers every state AXE USA runs in - all 33.
None of it is charged today. Pick the states you actually work anyway - that is what decides which requests and leads reach you.
None of this applies to Partner Organization seats. Associations, agencies, conservation nonprofits, districts, and extension services carry no location fee, no state ladder, and no card on file at any point.
Nothing on this page takes a card, and no seat on it bills you. Every seat also carries the jobs board upgrade: members with credentials on file get 3 included job postings a month, and postings past that are free while the site is. Need something these seats do not cover? Tell us what you need.
